Hello and welcome! I am Executive Director of One New Humanity. I live in Northern California and was born and raised in Alabama. I’ve also lived in war torn Southern Sudan as well as Kenya helping people heal from war, genocide, armed conflict, poverty and ignorance. For almost three years I lived in a remote Sudanese village without roads and only accessible by small bush air planes. Few living there had ever seen the outside world, even a plastic water bottle. There I taught peacemaking and reconciliation among impoverished villagers who were born into an existing generation of violence, war and death. Many received the biblical ways of peace.
Myself together with my incredibly committed staff, established and organized the first ever soccer team for Sudanese girls and boys who previously settled even the smallest of their conflicts in only one way…by killing their adversary. We organized the first ever youth and adult Olympics in the remote Upper Nile area. The event was hugely successful as some people walked as much as 6 hours to be a part of the event. We called it “Playing for Peace.”
I’ve also conducted reconciliation ministry among survivors of the Rwandan Genocide in Kigali Rwanda and taught peacemaking to pastors and community leaders. My passion and heavenly call is the ministry of reconciliation. My goal is to more fully share additional Godly principles with the body of Christ in order to put our feuds to an end so that we become the one new humanity created in Jesus Christ.
“Culture is a unifying factor to any nation. Culture is just like a religion. If you think of a certain religion; you find unity. Even in cultural values you’ll find a sign of unity and peace within”.
How to Express that You Care “Sometimes it’s what you don’t say that best expresses your affection”.
Treat the Pain of Someone You Love as Your Own. “In an audience with the Rebbe, a man mentioned that his daughter was suffering from a toothache. He requested a blessing that his daughter’s pain be eased. Sometime later, the daughter’s husband met with the Rebbe on a different matter. The Rebbe inquired how his wife was doing. Not wanting to trouble the Rebbe with the details, he replied that “it was only a toothache,” which, in any case, had already been healed. The Rebbe grew serious and surprised the young man with his penetrating response: “Where in your ketuba (marriage covenant) does it say that you may treat your wife’s pain lightly?” And the Rebbe insisted on hearing the exact details of his wife’s treatment”. “Jesus Christ Bore All Our Sicknesses and Healed All Our Diseases”.
“You are not required to complete the task, yet you are not free to withdraw from it”. And Jesus came to them and said, All authority has been given to me in heaven and on earth.
Go then, and make disciples of all the nations, giving them baptism in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit: Teaching them to keep all the rules which I have given you: and see, I am ever with you, even to the end of the world. Mathew 28:18- Go Ye!
The Everlasting Love “Any love that depends on a specific cause, when that cause is gone, the love is gone; but if it does not depend on a specific cause, it will never cease”. -Perkei Avos- Jeremiah 31:3 3 The Lord has appeared of old to me, saying: “Yes, I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you.
